A “notorious Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorist”, with a bounty of Rs2.5 million on him, was killed by the police’s counter-terrorism department in a shootout in Orangi Town on Monday.
CTD SSP Naveed Ahmed Nisaar Khawaja said while probing the killing of two Military Police personnel a few days on MA Jinnah Road, police were tipped off about the presence of terrorists involved in the case in Orangi Town.
The CTD police reached there and intercepted the terrorists travelling in two vehicles including a hi-roof van towards Surjani Town.
