places of minority communities in Narayanpura
Karachi
In Narayanpura, a neighbourhood in Karachi’s Ranchore Line area where non-Muslim communities live together, residents were surprised and happy to see on Sunday that a group of over 20 young men and women belonging to different faiths were busy cleaning their worship places.
Babu Mangla, the caretaker of the area’s Park Methodist Church for over 30 years, was delighted to see the good Samaritans decorating the church ahead of Christmas.
“It’s for the first time that I have seen saw people from other faiths helping us in celebrating our religious festivities,” Mangla told The News.
