KARACHI: A ten-month old baby lost the fight for life near Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) on Wednesday as her father was not allowed to cross the security cordon outside the the hospital where Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had arrived to perform an inauguration.
The security was strict at the hospital due to VIP movement of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who was there to inaugurate a Trauma Center.
According to sources, a 10-month-old girl Bismah was suffering from severe fever and her father was rushing her to Civil Hospital Karachi for emergency treatment but all link roads leading to the hospital were closed due to security protocol for Bilawal.
However, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari inaugurated the trauma center and returned in strict security. He was accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Suraj Durrani.
